The Universe For All (TUFA) Initiative was founded in 2021 by Nemes Temba and nine passionate co-founders, rising from a profound reflection on human potential and the urgent need to nurture this potential for the betterment of society and the world at large. The inception of TUFA is rooted in a powerful question: How can the folded talents and abilities within individuals be unfolded and optimally harnessed to influence positive change, and how can those already unfolded be supported to maximize their impact?

Nemes Temba, the visionary CEO and Founder, embodies this mission. Born and raised in Moshi – Kilimanjaro, Nemes’s journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the transformative power of education. As a person with albinism, Nemes encountered considerable challenges in schooling due to a lack of inclusive educational environments and limited awareness about special needs in Tanzania. Despite these obstacles, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Extension at Sokoine University of Agriculture in 2003, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Education in 2007, and a Master’s degree in Educational Management and Administration in 2010 from the University of Dar es Salaam.

Nemes’s path from a marginalized student to a leader in education, advocacy, and project management exemplifies the potential that lies dormant in many communities. His eighteen years of dedicated service, spanning teaching, disability rights advocacy, education coordination, and economic empowerment, reflect a commitment not only to personal success but to raising others through his work. From advancing the rights of persons with albinism and disabilities to coordinating inclusive educational projects across Tanzania, Nemes’s career is marked by a consistent drive to create equitable opportunities
